Just because they say it's great doesn't mean it is.

If you don't like TX, go live in North Dakota or Minnesota, where you will freeze to death in the winter. The people who have the problems you mentioned are not native Texans, but imports. We who live in west Texas don't have those aggravations. We carry guns to deal with varmints, not humans. We work hard and live outdoors a lot, so we don't have obesity. As far as teen pregnancies go, those don't occur with west Texas gals. Their daddies would deal harshly with both the girls and boys involved. Those things occur in places like Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio, which are cities and kids are softies. Obviously, you know nothing about the parts of Texas where the real Texans live. We work hard, play hard, and we're nice people to everyone except those who choose to mess with us.

1) Tex-Mex and BBQ
2) We’re all armed
3) Hot summers lead to indoor recreational activities
4) Don’t be a loser without job skills and you won’t have to worry about minimum wage.

If you don't like Texas, go to California and you will really be miserable.

All states have those problems you listed. As for the minimum wage, is that the best you can do?
