    No, because that wouldn't be vegetarianism.  Fish is meat.

    No. If you eat fish you are considered a pescatarian. Vegetarians do not eat flesh, but will eat a by-product of an animal.

    It's been a while since I've been on Yahoo! Answers, and this is clearly the question that will never die. 

    Fish are animals. Vegetarians do not eat the flesh of animals. Vegetarians do not eat fish or any other sea creature.
