I believe it's a fairly sweet ballad.

The main thing i got out of it was a line or two about a guy going into a girl's house and feeling comfortable, as if he wanted to stay there forever.

I thought it was a Fleetwood Mac/Lindsey Buckingham song. But now that I'm listening to their hits on YouTube, I'm not sure.

Any idea what song this is?

A friend recently related an experience which I would love to share, but am afraid to with other friends who might get too scared.

As she was reading in bed recently, she saw a blond young man walk through her living room. She had the sense he was headed toward her guest bathroom.

She got up and followed him, but he had disappeared. She figures he was a vision because everything was locked up and her dog who would ordinarily have raised a ruckus didn't bark. She has also seen legs walking in the swampy woods behind her home. She couldn't make out a torso, but walking there would be difficult anyway so she wondered if she had seen a ghost.

What do you make of this?

I'm in Florida.

Somebody told me she was the victim of a deep pack or something like that. I spoke to through work so won't be calling her back to get her to spell it.

But she said it had to do with someone trying to get into her bank accounts, etc. I searched for deep pack and deep pac, etc., and couldn't find anything.

Do you have any item to what she is referring and could you give me the name please? Thanks for any help.

How was the food?

Do they get gas mileage? Any sort of bonus? Just trying to figure out how much to tip them.

I lost my stepfather several years ago, but I have his drill. I'm no expert with it, but I'd like to drill holes into a plastic bucket and some ice cube trays for a project. Is it okay to use the drill for that and do you have a recommendation re the size of the drill bit?

This is just a guess that ladies used to have smaller rocks than the two-, three- and four-carat rings they have gotten lately ... although reportedly, young women are now trending back toward the smaller stones.

Again, football novice here  ...  but I understand now that Mahomes was somewhat crippled by a toe issue, which does seem as if it might give him serious problems turning and moving quickly.

Someone or more than one person who answered a previous question i posted here said the Chief's defense wasn't bad, and indicated that with almost any offense, they could have played a decent game. Not that other people haven't said that the Chiefs played well. But could Mahomes not have played, and if he hadn't, what would have happened?

Probably some articles on this, i just haven't searched for them yet, so please forgive my asking for your input.

We live in the Tampa Bay area.

An acquaintance, who, of course, was rooting for the Bucs, said Kansas City played well, they just were outgunned by the Bucs.

I know next to nothing about football but say Tampa Bay played textbook football that made it even look boring, while Kansas City seemed kind of scrambled, maybe because of unfamiliar positions due a recent injury. But also, some of them seemed intimidated.What say you  ...  do you feel KC played well but was just overwhelmed by the defense?

Recently had the car in for a new coil. The car had been running roughly and the mechanic said there was some little ball down in the engine past which i guess gas squirted. He said he cleaned it up to make the gas pass more smoothly through as well.

I have not been back, but do you have any idea what he was talking about?

Making a carrot ring. Very delicious and rich recipe I have had for years. But lost my ring mold pan.

I can append the recipe so you can review it if you wish to figure out what you think. The recipe calls for baking the carrot ring in hot water. I do still have a spring mold pan  ...  you know, for like angel food cake.

Do you think if I line the spring mold pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper I can get away with using it without it allowing the water in?

Also, it has been so long since I made the recipe  ...  thinking about using it for Thanksgiving  ...  that I don't recall how I did this. Do you think I am supposed to use like hot tap water or boiling water around the ring pan before putting it in the oven? Do you think that they mean put the whole set-up in the oven, and the water will heat up?

Also, when they say to add the egg whites, do you think they mean those should be beaten first?

Here's the recipe, that was given to me by the wonderful mother of a wonderful man.

Carrot ring

1 c butter

1/2 c brown sugar

1-1/2 c grated carrots

2 eggs, separated

1/2 t salt

1 c flour

1 T cold water

1 t lemon juice

1/2 t baking soda

1 t baking powder

Melt butter and mix egg yolks and sugar. Beat. Sift flour, salt. soda and baking powder. Add carrots to hot mixture and then add flour mixture. Add water and lemon juice. Fold in eggs whites. Bake in greased ring mold in hot water.

I believe i keep getting oil in cylinder one. Valve cover gasket has been replaced twice ... second time dealership did it for free because still under repair warranty. I plan to try replacing the coil in cylinder one.

But do you have any idea what might cause the valve cover and/or engine to leak like this? What do I or a mechanic look for? About 145,000 miles. Does tend to leak on ground, too.

It is recommended that one carry one of these among other protective items when hiking, camping, etc., in case of getting lost/going missing, etc. ... see the work of David Paulides under the Canam Missing Project on YouTube, for instance. Anyway, I just did a brief search and they seem quite expensive, about $300 each. There is a cheap one called Spot. I think, and others in between.

Do you have any opinion about which is/are best and have you had any experience with them?

As in, do you feel that the person the public wants more as the first lady or first man predicts or even determines who will win?

Please help solve an argument  .....  lol
