    No new Zelda games for the Switch?

    Sure, BOTW is on the Switch, but technically it came out on the Wii U and was really the only Zelda game on the Wii U, since Skyward Sword was on the Wii. There's a bunch of HD remakes, but not really anything new. Hard to shell out money for these systems when your favorite games don't get released until a few years later.

    Why do people say the Wii U failed?

    I mean if 13.5 million units sold and there are only 7 million people on earth, then that means everyone each bought one or two possibly three?

    Will my old Wii sell for $300?

    Favourite answer:

    While it depends on the condition of the Wii, it's highly unlikely you'll get $300 for the system itself.  You're more likely to receive around $50 for the system in a fair market.

    Please be aware that complete system will include the following:

    * Wii Console

    * Sensor Bar (wired)

    * Composite A/V cable

    * Power brick

    * 1 Wiimote (or Wiimote Plus) w/ strap & protective jacket

    * 1 Nunchuck add-on

    * All protective covers

    IF any of the above items are missing, you will expect a serious dip in offer prices as you do NOT have a complete system.

    Optional items that may be included with the system, which will not heavily affect selling price are:

    * Wii Vertical Stand (included w/ model RVL-001 ONLY)

    * Wii Motion Plus (only for the original Wiimotes)

    * Component A/V cable

    All other items (like games, extra Wiimotes, Classic Console controllers, ect.) may be sold separately, which when combined with the system could push it up to the $300 asking price, but it's uncertain as there's no other information that can be obtained.

    You can check what the current "fair market" pricing at https://www.vgpc.com/ at your leisure.  The site compiles it's market prices based on purchase prices & final bids on closed auctions as well as a few other sites that sells the console & games.  Please be aware that this more of a guideline than a definitive rule.

    Is Super Mario a washed up forgotten video game character in your opinion?

    Favourite answer:

    not by a long shot. mario is the face of nintendo and is constantly getting new games. while not all mario games are amazing, the beauty of the franchise is how easy it is to make something new that fits in the universe. i really can't think of any other single character to appear in so many different genres of game. there's the sports games, the kart games, a good variety of different rpgs, 2d platformers, 3d sandbox platformers, puzzle games, and characters in the mario universe have their own subline of games, primarily yoshi but luigi has his own series of games as well.

    Wasn't the Nintendo 64 and it's games still being sold in the early 2000s?

    I'm starting to wonder because right now, the only Nintendo consoles being sold at retail stores are the Switch and 3DS. Also, the Wii spanned from the 2000s and into the 2010s (which was the same decade as the Switch).

    So, wasn't the Nintendo 64 and it's games still being sold in the early 2000s?

    a) yes

    b) no

    When you answer, can you give me an explanation?

    Is it ok to use the nintendo wii music as background music in one of my videos?

    Favourite answer:

    The usage of ANY music from the Wii hardware (like the Mii Channel OR the Wii Shop Channel) or games would be a violation of copyright... so Nintendo could legally strike down the video on any publicly accessible website.

    While recreating the music track of your own accord (by doing your own instrumental version) would give you the copyright on the performance... Nintendo still holds their copyright claim on the original music, which complicates things in terms of copyright law.

    On YouTube, Nintendo would automatically get a content ID claim on the video, so it would potentially get demonetized in the process.... but would be allowed to exist on it's own merits.

    On Twitch, the usage of the music in the background would trigger a content / copyright ID claim & would mute the VOD for at least the duration of the music, but Twitch tends to mute in 30-minute blocks whenever a claim occurs.

    In short (TL;DR) is that while it's not recommended if you're trying to make money on the video, Nintendo won't strike it down in full legal force on copyrights.
