is it going to be a hot summer in Scotland this year? ?
Favourite answer:There's no way to tell this far in advance. The spring has been very dry so far so by the law of averages it will probably rain all summer!

Scots: Does it bother you to be called "British"?
Favourite answer:Not at all as it is correct. Can't be doing with being called English, though.

I am a almost 28 year old single American woman traveling to Glasgow ?
Favourite answer:Accept & don't criticize their culture/accents.
Have you done any research on where you are going? Not just travel information but about their culture/history/issues?
Maybe glance at online newspapers or listen to some online Scottish radio.

I'm a 27 year old single woman from America who is traveling to Glasgow by myself is it safe?
Favourite answer:Yes, of course it is. Scotland is a first world country, just use common sense and avoid obviously dangerous places. What an insulting question.

Why is Glasgow known for being so violent?
I heard that Glasgow is one of the most violent cities in Europe and the most violent in the UK. In the 1920s it was even more violent than now. Does anyone know why it has this reputation? What brought it all on?
