  • Feminists/MRAs: Can you give some specific examples of institutional Misogyny/Misandry?

I'm not looking for a statement of only 4π% of CEOs are women or 9√2% of men get custody, but specific examples of where some organisation has, in an official capacity, explicitly favoured one gender over the other, or one individual over another entirely due to gender.

  • How do you define feminism?

What do you consider feminism to be, and do you agree with the movement as you define it? Please also provide your gender and age (or approximate age).

  • Do you consider yourself a Masculist?

And if so, how do you define it for yourself?

  • What is your opinion on the following statement?

"Anything a woman does a man must do twice as well to be thought of as half as good. Luckily this is not difficult."

Before you attempt to judge me from this, note that these aren't my words. I just want your opinion on the thoughts expressed within them.

  • What would you include in your afterlife?

If you were designing an afterlife, what would you put in it?

What areas would there be, who would go there, and what would they do? What other features would there be? Would anyone other than dead humans live there, and if so who?

(If you have a religious belief, and insist you wouldn't make anything different, why do you think your religion's afterlife is perfect the way it is?)

  • If you were god, who would you smite and why?

That is, if you, as you are now, were turned into a god. Those with strong beliefs, I don't care about what the god you believe in would do, I want to know what you would do.

Also, please state your religious position.

  • Rate/Fix my Yugioh Harpie Deck (mainly fix please)?

    Monsters (20):

    3x Harpie Lady 1

    3x Harpie Queen

    3x Flying Kamakari #1

    3x Hunter Owl

    2x Simorgh, Bird of Divinity

    2x Silpheed

    2x Mist Valley Soldier

    2x Harpie's Pet Baby Dragon

    Spells (15):

    3x Harpie's Hunting Ground

    2x Elegent Egotist

    2x Mystical Space Typhoon

    1x Dark Hole

    1x Monster Reborn

    1x Creature Swap

    1x Smashing Ground

    1x Card Destruction

    1x Book of Moon

    Traps (7):

    2x Bottomless Trap Hole

    2x Icarus Attack

    2x Waboku

    1x Hysteric Party

Please don't suggest Harpie Lady Sisters or Harpie's Pet Dragon. I'm attempting to do this deck on a budget, so please don't suggest lots of expensive cards either.

I'm aware there are no Synchros. I'll probably use stuff from my Synchro deck when it's not using it, and Mist Valley Soldier is mainly in for it's effect rather than being a tuner.

I'm considering taking out Simorgh, Baby Dragon, Silpheed and maybe Soldier for some Blackwings. Any thoughts on this?

  • Advice for Yu-Gi-Oh Sea Serpent Deck?

This is a quick deck I came up with, intended to try and use Sea Serpents, the least supported type in the game. I'm intentionally using only Sea Serpents, although I may add a few others if they help. I'm looking for any suggestions of other cards.

1x Ocean Dragon Lord - Neo Daedlaus

    2x Levia-Dragon Daedlaus

    2x Armed Sea Hunter

2x The Dragon Dwelling in the Deep

    3x Codarus

    3x Deep Sea Diva

    3x Mermaid Archer

    3x Spined Gillman

    1x Terraforming

    1x Heavy Storm

    1x Mystical Space Typhoon

    1x Brain Control

    1x Level Limit Area B

    2x Salvage

    2x Moray of Greed

    3x A Legendary Ocean

    1x Torrential Trubute

    1x Call of the Haunted

    1x Gravity Bind

2x Forgotten Temple of the Deep

2x Aegis of the Ocean Dragon Lord

    2x Tornado Wall

    2x Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon

1x Brionac Dragon of the Ice Barrier

    Other Synchros

The goal of the deck is to use Gravity Bind/Level Limit to lock your opponent's monsters, and then use Mermaid Archer and Armed Sea Hunter to attack. Codarus can clear any awkward spells or face-downs, and Spined Gillman and The Dragon Dwelling in the Deep provide more power-ups for attacking monsters. Levia-Dragon Daedlaus and Ocean Dragon Lord can wipe the field for you to attack directly. Salvage allows you to reuse many, and Moray of Greed lets you swap them for new cards from your deck.

I know this isn't a top class deck, and I may well not even build it, I'm just looking for any suggestions on improving it.

  • Why does sound recording software produce a beep or pip throughout the recordings?

I have a Dell inspiron 1525 with a built in webcam. Whenever I try to record a video using the built-in microphone however there is a 'beep' or 'pip' sound throughout. Oddly this doesn't seem to affect direct capture from youtube.

  • What are the basic ideas of your religion/beliefs and why should I follow it?

I am interested in what people believe as I need to find my own. Just a few sentences, or maybe a link to a website, but please explain how it is relevant/important to you, or how you think it will help me.

IF ANYONE SLAMS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAITH IN THIS QUESTION I WILL REPORT IT. You have been warned.

  • Why do some atheists feel that they must tell people God/Jesus doesn't exist...?

...regardless of how relevant or not to the question it is?

Seriously can you people not treat a question as hypothetical?

Firstly I KNOW there are Christians who treat the existence of god as a certainty but it can be taken as read that that's their belief.

I want to know why some atheists seem to think that it's worthwhile making a post (for example) saying nothing more than 'Jesus wasn't real' in answer to a question about his skin tone.

    a) How does that answer the question?

    b) Why would you do that? What's the point?

There seem to be three possibilities:

    1) They are being deliberately annoying.

    2) They think that stating it enough times makes it true (I don't care if it is or not repeating it will never make it more true)

    3) They seriously believe that it is true and they must convert all non-believers to their beliefs to save them from lies and evil. (note the parallels with Christianity)

    4) They're looking for an easy two points

    5) They think it makes them look clever

So why do these 'answers' keep showing up? I don't care about whether they are right or wrong I want to know their reasons for the submission.

  • Atheists, how did humans evolve a phobia of death to the degree that they would 'invent' religion?

I don't care about conscience in general. I want to know how, if we are supposed to live for 70 years or so and then die, humans came to have such an irrational fear of death. It can't hold an evolutionary advantage.

  • Serious Question: Why do some atheists seem hypocritical?

Before you atheist go off about something I'm not asking about read this:

I have noticed that a number of atheists seem to be rather hypocritical with regards to their beliefs. For example:

Atheists say 'God does not exist' and demand that religious people prove he does. Yet despite the evidence put forward in response atheists still deny that there is evidence.

Even though they ignore the evidence of creation they will still accuse religious people of ignoring the evidence around them

They state that religious views are wrong and yet are annoyed at Christians who 'try to force their views onto them'

This is not all and are some general vibes rather than anything specific.

I am not saying that religious people are perfect, but it seems odd that atheists will accuse religious people of these when they appear to suffer from the same problems.

Please don't anyone use this as an excuse to go off at anyone. I just want to know why I detect this hypocrisy in atheism

  • How do I sign up for a hotmail account? The sign-up doesn't seem to be working?

I have tried filling in the form and have filled it in as it should be, however clicking the 'I accept' button just resets the form.
