Where is the best place to take the ICBC road test? 2021?
I live by Guildford and I want to know the easiest place to pass? somewhere not too far, The upside is that I know the area of Surrey claim centre, but people say its hard. Other places may be easy but I do not know those areas at all. If someone could help that would be awesome.

Hi, I asked my parents to book a hotel room for my friend and me for my 19th birthday. My friend is 18. Will my parents have to check us in at the hotel since their credit card was used? If the Canadian border is closed, is Portland worth a visit from Seattle?
I've heard rumors that the Canadian border may remain closed till the end of July. I'm travelling to Seattle in early August and wanted to visit Vancouver as well. If the Canadian border is closed is it worth travelling to Portland for a week. My entire trip lasts about 13 days. Or should I consider cancelling it because Vancouver is worth visiting while you are there and I should schedule for another time.

Favourite answer:G1andG2 are for RESIDENTS of Ontario.
You DO NOT need to start all over again. You get some credit for what you have. As a NEW driver you go through the NEW driver graduated licence of BC.
You turn in your old Ontario licence to get the new to you one from BC.
you have 90 days to switch over your licence.
If you don't have two years' driving experience (with a full-privilege, non-learner licence) or can't prove it, you can still get a B.C. licence by going through the graduated licensing program. You'll get credit for however long you have been driving.
Need more detail then just ask the Licence people of BC for your specific details.
Are you coming to BC just as a student? There are different rules.

Toronto to vancouver by car without entering the U.S.?
Hello everyone. I am planning to drive from Toronto to Vancouver and I do not want to go to the U.S. next June.
Actually, I am free for a month and I want to explore different places in Canada on my way to Vancouver. However, Google Maps shows entering the U.S. Can anyone help me with the way to Vancouver without entering the U.S. with details?

Will I get taxed if I bring some cigar products from Canada back to USA through the border?
So I’m going to Canada for 1 day (24+ hours but less than 48 hours). I want to bring back some cigar products from Canada back home to the US. I just wanna know will I be able to bring it back home fine without getting taxed? Or will I get taxed for it?
P.s. the cigar products I’m trying to bring back are backwoods.

Favourite answer:Pacific Spirit park, the walking trails. Its trees are huge--and I live where there's forests--and the stillness is awesome. The area's pretty level, so it's not physically challenging, unless distance is your thing.

What’s life in Vancouver compare to Victoria?
I'm interested in moving to Vancouver from Victoria. I know is a expensive place to live. I'm 25 years old and I've been interested in moving there for a long time now. But I'm worried about safety since I will be on my own there. Is Vancouver safe? How difficult is it to get a job and apartment? What places there are dangerous? Does Vancouver have problems with racism? I'm Chinese and 5 feet 10 tall. What's the weather like? Is it true Vancouver is like Victoria? Where should I move ?
Favourite answer:I grew up not too far from Vancouver as well, and I lived in Prince George for a few years while I went to university there, and I've lived in Guelph, ON, Sydney, NS, and I currently live near Halifax, NS. Now that I have a job that I could do in BC, I'm thinking about moving back.
If you're looking for someplace warmer than Vancouver but nowhere remote, you're unlikely to find it in Canada unless the Okanagan is to your taste. I can tell you that Halifax is about the same temperatures spring-fall, but winter is much colder. Overall, it's much sunnier than Vancouver, and I like it. There are lots of schools and a decent social scene, though I don't know much about the job market.
If you want to move outside Canada, I have a friend who went on a vacation to New Zealand for a vacation, and she and her husband loved it so much they ended up moving there a few years later. The west coast of the United States might be all right. My aunt and uncle have a house in Phoenix, AZ that they go to during the winter, and they like it there (except for the summers, which are unbelievably hot).
If you do decide to move elsewhere, I hope you find a place you really enjoy.
