I heard that vhs tapes wear out after 10-25 years. Does it matter the number of times it is used or is it only the years it starts to degrade?

how does Roku work? ?
What channels do we get for free with the Roku? Do we have to pay for every single channel offered? Also, are there any channels we can get with a free subscription? Why spend so much money on a Roku when we still have to pay for everything else? Is HGTV or Fox free at least?

Does a satellite dish need to be on a certain side of the house?
Favourite answer:Look for a "satellite finder" app for your phone or tablet.
That will show you the point in the sky that the dish needs a clear line of sight to.
TV satellites are in geostationary orbits at about 25000 miles over the equator, so the dish needs a clear line of site to whichever sat you want to receive.
The location on the building does not matter, as long as it can see that spot in the sky; sometimes they can be fitted on the "wrong side" of a house, but aimed back over the roof.

Directv installation?
Favourite answer:It usually takes a few days to get it installed. They should give you a time frame of when you can expect AT&T (or a contractor) to come and install the service for you.

I only have a place to hook up cable in my living room. Rental company asled the owner for me and he won't allow me to have a second connection installed in the bedroom even if I pay for it. If I use a splitter could I then run a cord from my living room to my bedroom and connect a cable box in there?
